Microsoft Legacy Microsoft Dynamics GP ERP Financial ERP n/a 2016 2016
In 2016 Redcape Hotel Group implemented Microsoft Dynamics GP as its ERP Financial system. The deployment centralized accounts payable processing across 26 pubs within the MA Hotel Management portfolio and handled up to 2,000 supplier invoices weekly, supporting a finance organization within a 900 employee hospitality operator with AUD 200,000,000 in revenue. Configuration emphasis was placed on the accounts payable module, check processing, vendor invoice tracking, and recurring reporting. Day-to-day activities included daily, weekly, and monthly reporting workflows for accounts payable transactions, check run processing, invoice batching, and exception handling for vendor invoice errors, all executed within Microsoft Dynamics GP. Operational coverage included finance and accounts payable teams for the group, with explicit responsibility for rectifying escalated accounts payable issues raised by employees and vendors and collaborating directly with vendors on invoice errors. Generated tracking reports and vendor communications were used to maintain transparency for management and to coordinate invoice corrections and payments. Governance and process controls were implemented around AP ownership, escalation paths for disputed invoices, and scheduled reporting cadence, with the teams taking responsibility for daily, weekly, and monthly check processing and AP reporting. The implementation preserved an excellent customer service reputation through vendor collaboration and timely resolution of accounts payable issues, while providing management with regular visibility into due and overdue vendor invoices.
