In 2018, ResMed implemented Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials Accounts Payable on Oracle Cloud Application R13. The deployment provided AP Automation and included configuration of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management modules to support core finance operations.
The implementation followed Oracle Unified Methodology and used Rapid Implementation techniques for business units, with functional configuration work covering BPM Approvals for journals and invoices. Key implementation activities included CRP and UAT sessions, end to end process testing, configuration of custom security roles, and preparation of governance and process documentation such as TE025, MC050, MD050, and DO070.
Data migration and master data upload were executed using FDBI templates, and the team validated process flows across AP, AR, FA, CM, and GL in the Oracle Cloud Application R13 environment. Post go live, the program included day to day application support for user issues in Accounts Payable and adjacent financial modules, and ongoing monitoring of tickets across core and cross functional process flows with business prioritization.
Project governance emphasized requirements analysis, mapping of client requirements to module capabilities, and identification of capability gaps. Incident, service, and change requests were assessed to produce ticket analysis in line with company standards, and daily status reporting was shared with the client management team to track overall progress.
