Oracle Legacy Oracle E-Business Suite ERP Financial ERP n/a 2010 2010
In 2010, Ricoh UK implemented Oracle E-Business Suite under a program named SHARE. The SHARE program began in London with Ricoh UK and is actively rolling a core model out to other European countries. Oracle E-Business Suite was selected to provide ERP Financial capabilities for Ricoh UK. Implementation work focused on configuring a reusable core model of Oracle E-Business Suite covering standard ERP Financial functional areas, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, intercompany accounting and financial reporting. The core model approach was designed to standardize chart of accounts, posting rules and period close workflows across rollouts. Configuration emphasized finance and accounting process harmonization consistent with ERP Financial best practices. The program implements Oracle E-Business Suite alongside Siebel, with the two applications acting as the primary enterprise systems for back-office finance and customer facing CRM respectively. Integration between Oracle E-Business Suite and Siebel supported order to cash and customer account reconciliation processes during rollout. Operational coverage started with Ricoh UK and extends to other countries in Europe as the core model is adopted. Testing and governance were coordinated by a Test Lead role, represented by Wai-Ling, who worked directly with business stakeholders to define test scope and produce the test plan. Wai-Ling also provided ongoing support for the offshore test team, answering questions and troubleshooting issues during execution. This testing governance supported the staged rollout of the Oracle E-Business Suite core model across Ricoh's European sites.

ServiceNow Legacy ServiceNow Asset Management Enterprise Asset Management ERP Services and Operations n/a 2018 2018
In 2018, Ricoh UK implemented ServiceNow Asset Management to establish a unified Enterprise Asset Management capability supporting large global transition programmes. The deployment was focused on deskside services and store IT operations, covering an initial pharmaceutical deskside transition across 21 sites in EMEA, LATAM and Greater China and a subsequent retail rollout that reached 550 stores across 33 countries, with the service ultimately bedded into 32 countries. ServiceNow Asset Management was configured to deliver asset inventory and lifecycle tracking, audit-driven inventory reconciliation, configuration management records and ticketing-driven fault and repair workflows. The implementation emphasized asset discovery, stock holding optimisation and an audit plan to inventory store assets worldwide, aligning configuration items to incident and request processes typical of Enterprise Asset Management. Operationally the ServiceNow Asset Management instance was used as the central ticketing and asset platform, integrated into rollout execution by regional project managers and data analysts. The platform orchestrated inventory audits, equipment ordering and engineer scheduling workflows, and supported a global PC refresh programme of approximately 1500 machines migrating from Windows 7 to Windows 10 across multiple countries. Governance and process changes were instituted to support the rollout, including regional and country project managers to coordinate procurement and engineer allocation, and an audit governance model to validate stock levels against store service level agreements. The rollout plan was designed to accommodate seasonal trading periods and include an audit cadence and data governance controls aligned to service delivery and store SLA requirements. Outcomes and operational impacts stated in project records include the service being bedded into 32 countries and the client expanding contracted services to include worldwide AV support, disaster recovery and business continuity, end user computing and print services representing roughly twenty million euros of incremental revenue. The programme experienced schedule disruption from Covid19 related supply chain constraints and local furlough schemes, with the PC upgrade work anticipated to complete by January 2021.
