Oracle Legacy Oracle E-Business Suite ERP Financial ERP n/a 2011 2011
In 2011, Rona implemented Oracle E-Business Suite as its ERP Financial platform to provide comprehensive transactional and financial control across retail operations. The engagement focused on functional support and product-aligned customizations for core finance processes, reflecting Rona’s status as a large Canadian retailer with 26,000 employees and a multi-site retail footprint. Configuration and module work centered on Oracle E-Business Suite modules AR, LNS, AP, GL, CE, PO and Workflow, with explicit functional design to meet complex business requirements. Activities included designing functional solutions inside Oracle E-Business Suite, developing and testing customizations, and implementing module-level configurations, with particular emphasis on CE and AP expertise. Project governance used a standardized AIM documentation method for requirements, design, testing, and cutover artifacts, enabling structured development and validated deployments. The implementation carried a strong end-user perspective for Oracle E-Business Suite, with functional support processes established for ongoing incident resolution and enhancements. Operational coverage targeted finance and procurement business functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, procurement operations and workflow-driven approvals. The program emphasized functional ownership, documented configuration standards, and iterative testing and implementation cycles to align Oracle E-Business Suite with Rona’s retail financial processes.

Oracle Legacy Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne HCM Core HR HCM n/a 2012 2018
In 2012, Rona implemented Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne HCM as its Core HR solution. The Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne HCM deployment was executed as part of a broader JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 upgrade that included Finance, Human Resources, Distribution, Manufacturing, Mobile Apps and OVR components. The implementation focused on Core HR capabilities typical of the category, including centralized employee records, position and workforce administration, and HR workflow configuration within Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne HCM. Configuration work aligned HCM with parallel 9.2 module updates in Finance and Distribution to maintain shared master data and consistent transactional processing across back office functions. Operational coverage extended to HR, Finance, Distribution and Manufacturing functions, reflecting Rona's retail, distribution and manufacturing operational footprint in Canada. The rollout was coordinated by a designated project manager and executed in phased waves to align module cutovers across Finance, Human Resources and Distribution while enabling Mobile Apps access for field and store operational users. Governance established cross-functional oversight between HR and IT for configuration control, change management and operational handoffs, and the program emphasized integrated system orchestration within the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 environment rather than point integrations to external products.

ACCEO Solutions Legacy ACCEO OCG Distribution ERP ERP Services and Operations n/a 2013 2013
In 2013, Rona implemented ACCEO OCG as a Distribution ERP to consolidate retail management for its hardware stores and renovation centers. The implementation followed ACCEO Solutions acquisition of Les Systèmes Informatiques OGC and the OGC-Plus product, with ACCEO OCG reflecting the integrated offering that preserved OGC-Plus retail functionality within ACCEOs vertical solution for building materials and renovation retail. The Distribution ERP deployment focused on standard distribution and retail modules, including inventory management, merchandising and pricing, procurement and supplier management, warehouse and stock control, and point of sale functionality tailored for hardware and renovation assortments. ACCEO OCG retained OGC-Plus configuration and workflow patterns for multi-site replenishment and catalog management, while enabling centralized product and assortment configuration for banner-level merchandising. Operational coverage targeted the RONA banner of hardware stores and renovation centers in Canada, with the system applied to store operations and central merchandising and purchasing functions for banner management. Rollout and configuration work leveraged the acquired OGC domain expertise to align system parameters to categories typical of building materials retail, and to support day to day store and distribution processes across the banner. Governance combined ACCEO product management with OGC product specialists transferred in the acquisition, with around thirty OGC employees joining ACCEO Solutions to support product integration and knowledge transfer. The acquisition and the ACCEO OCG integration were positioned by ACCEO as a way to expand its product range and to strengthen its role in the hardware store and materials center industry, as stated in company communications.
