In 2015 SABMiller implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 for SABMiller Brands Europe, delivering an ERP Financial platform intended to centralize finance and controlling workflows across the regional brand organization. The program completed a combined deployment of SAP ERP ECC 6.0 together with SAP PI and SAP BW to provide transactional processing and consolidated reporting for Brands Europe.
The engagement covered the full life cycle with Mobilise, Analyse, Design, Build, Test and Run phases. Configuration work focused on core ERP Financial capabilities, including general ledger processing, accounts payable and receivable workflows, master data stabilization and the period end financial close process.
SAP PI was implemented as the integration layer to orchestrate interface connectivity between ECC 6.0 and the wider application landscape, while SAP BW provided a reporting and analytics layer for brand and finance reporting. Operational scope was centered on finance and controlling teams supporting SABMiller Brands Europe, with data flows and reporting consolidated through the SAP BW environment.
Governance and rollout followed structured project phases with formal analysis, design reviews, test management and a transition into Run operations. The implementation narrative documents a completed ECC 6.0, PI and BW deployment delivered for SABMiller Brands Europe under a full life cycle engagement.
