Configuration emphasized standardized rendering and review templates to align engineering and project-management teams on drawing interpretation and revision handling. Oracle AutoVue Enterprise Visualization was integrated with Saipem’s centralized document management system to streamline document access, shorten review cycles, and improve project visibility for engineering and project-management processes. The integrated architecture supported distributed access by project teams across EMEA and global project sites, enabling centralized storage with federated viewing and review sessions. Governance concentrated on standardizing document review and approval workflows, centralizing access controls, and embedding visualization into engineering and project-management processes to ensure consistent reviews across capital projects. The deployment explicitly aimed to speed reviews and approvals and to improve project visibility, as reported by Saipem.
