SAP Legacy SAP ERP ECC 6.0 ERP Financial ERP n/a 2010 2010
In 2010, Sanofi Genzyme implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 as an ERP Financial system to centralize international invoicing and financial operational workflows. The deployment emphasized systematizing weekly revenue recognition for all international invoicing to support weekly flash reporting, and embedding SAP ERP ECC 6.0 controls into order to cash and procure to pay processes. Configuration work included automated revenue recognition routines and a system generated intercompany purchasing process, achieved by creating system based price lists for corporate purchases from European production plants and distribution centers. The implementation also extended SAP ERP ECC 6.0 to improve export documentation and freight management processes for Europe and international shipments, and supported merging Genzyme's international order entry system into Sanofi SAP ERP systems. Operational integrations encompassed European production facilities and distribution centers through the new intercompany pricing and order flows, and operational coordination was reinforced with weekly open order meetings with European production sites. The SAP deployment covered account and customer activity management for Japan, S. Korea, Canada and Israel entities, and included maintaining and reporting monthly humanitarian shipments with trend analysis for the humanitarian program. Governance and program ownership were anchored in Sanofi's SAP department, with an SAP department representative participating on the ERP project team and facilitating cross functional coordination. Day to day responsibilities retained in the system included maintaining weekly revenue recognition outputs, coordinating open order governance, and supporting ongoing SAP development and implementation workstreams for export and freight documentation.

Veeva Systems Legacy Veeva Oncology Link Analytics and BI Analytics and BI n/a 2017 2017
In 2017 Sanofi Genzyme implemented Veeva Oncology Link as an Analytics and BI application to support Medical Affairs operations and field CRM workflows. The Business Process Owner for Veeva sat in the Medical Affairs Operations Team and was responsible for managing the field CRM environment that included Veeva and Salesforce, establishing operational ownership for ongoing configuration and reporting needs. Veeva Oncology Link was configured to support user profile updates, territory alignments, loading of Surveys and Field Coaching Reports, and the development of operational reports. The implementation involved active collaboration with internal and external support teams and coordination with IT and QA for release management, including facilitating user acceptance testing in HP ALM prior to production deployment. The deployment covered Medical Affairs and field force users across multiple therapeutic areas, and included training and enablement through demo sessions delivered at an off-site Veeva Oncology Summit. Governance and process changes emphasized streamlining the enhancement request lifecycle and improving issue visibility, with prioritized review meetings to negotiate scope across therapeutic areas and regular progress reporting to Senior Management and Operations Directors. The team also reworked the MIR process by identifying pain points, evaluating solution options, and coordinating delivery and validation through IT and QA.
