ADP Legacy ADP Workforce Now Core HR HCM n/a 2019 2020
In 2019, Schweid & Sons implemented ADP Workforce Now as its Core HR platform, centralizing HR and payroll functionality for a 250 employee consumer packaged goods operation. The implementation was led from the Carlstadt, New Jersey site with interim HR leadership managing the deployment and serving as the designated ADP subject matter expert. The ADP Workforce Now deployment included payroll processing, benefits administration with Electronic Data Interchange connections for health benefits, HR reporting and analytics, onboarding and employee record management. The project encompassed the transition from a KRONOS timekeeping environment to ADP Workforce Now time and attendance workflows, and configuration of user roles and payroll mappings consistent with union and nonunion employee classes. Integrations and operational coverage were focused on EDI connections for health benefits and end to end payroll flows, and close coordination with Operations and Quality Assurance to align safety and labor processes. The rollout covered two sites, included training of the new HR Director and an HR Manager at the Atlanta site, and supported daily HR resolutions across more than 100 union employees and approximately 70 full time equivalents. Governance and process change were instituted by the interim HR lead who standardized HR policies and practices across both sites, served as the ADP point person and trained successor staff on system maintenance and cultural norms. The implementation supported employment, compensation and labor negotiation workflows and established standardized reporting and data analysis practices for employee productivity benchmarking and ongoing HR governance.

AspenTech Legacy Aspen Canopy Food and Beverage ERP ERP Services and Operations n/a 2018 2018
In 2018 Schweid & Sons deployed Aspen Canopy as its Food and Beverage ERP to centralize manufacturing and inventory workflows across its New Jersey headquarters and a College Park Georgia office. The implementation targeted production and batch control, lot traceability, inventory management, procurement and sales order processing, aligning ERP master data with plant and distribution site operations. Aspen Canopy was configured on a virtualized infrastructure using Hyper V with a SQL Server backend to host transactional and reporting databases. Configuration emphasized multi site master data, batch and recipe parameters, and lot tracking to support food safety and traceability processes typical for a Food and Beverage ERP. Authentication and directory services were integrated with the company identity stack, using Azure AD Connect and Active Directory to provision users and manage access. The Aspen Canopy environment coexisted with on premise and cloud productivity platforms including SharePoint and Microsoft Office 365, and with network and communications infrastructure such as Cisco Meraki and RingCentral VOIP, while access control and facility systems were managed alongside KeyScan Aurora. Governance and operational rollout leveraged internal IT practices, with the IT Help Desk Manager defining on boarding and off boarding policies, GPO maintenance and a standardized end user computer experience to enforce security and supportability during the ERP rollout. Ongoing support coverage was provided for offices in Georgia and New Jersey, with help desk ticketing and endpoint management integrated into broader IT operations.

Microsoft Legacy Microsoft 365 Collaboration Collaboration n/a 2015 2015
In 2015, Schweid & Sons implemented Microsoft 365 for Collaboration to support internal collaboration and document management across its corporate organization. The deployment is a cloud-hosted Microsoft 365 tenant provisioned for core productivity and collaboration use, and the company also uses Microsoft 365 on their public website. This establishes the relationship Schweid & Sons Microsoft 365 Collaboration internal collaboration and content hosting. Functional capabilities implemented align with standard Collaboration category workflows, including cloud email and calendaring, document libraries and intranet sites, file sync and sharing, and real-time team communication and meetings. Governance is delivered at the tenant level with centralized administration for user provisioning, access controls, and document sharing policies, and the implementation covers corporate functions such as marketing, sales, and operations. Public site usage indicates Microsoft 365 resources are exposed externally for content or document access, consistent with a Microsoft 365 Collaboration footprint.
