In 2017, ScreenSkills implemented Infor SunSystems as its ERP Financial application to centralize accounting, fund management and month end processes for a 150 person organisation in the leisure and hospitality sector. The finance function used Infor SunSystems to manage day to day activities including journal posting, preparation of monthly management accounts, reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and oversight of a small finance team.
The deployment emphasized core financial modules such as the general ledger, journal posting, balance sheet maintenance and management reporting delivered via Executive Tools. Configuration work included maintaining the coding structure within Infor SunSystems, creating business rules to standardize and improve accuracy of data entry, and designing standard forms and policies including expense claim and travel claim workflows linked into the finance system.
Operational coverage extended across finance and HR workflows, with finance working with HR to manage payroll processing accuracy and compliance and to provision data for statutory submissions. The implementation supported fund management and the GIFTS database functionality to underpin the grant giving function, and was used to produce information for HMRC quarterly VAT and payroll returns including P11D submissions, as well as filings required by Companies House and reporting for internal committees.
Governance and process controls were formalised through written financial procedures, a finance timetable for month end close and monthly reconciliations, and clear role definitions for the finance team. Ongoing administration of the SunSystems environment included system administration, QA and training for new team members, and iterative development with the Head of Finance to adapt reporting and fund management capabilities.

In 2019, ScreenSkills implemented Microsoft 365 to standardize Collaboration across its UK operations. The organization of 150 employees references Microsoft 365 components on its public website and adopted Microsoft 365 as its primary Collaboration application for internal communication and content sharing.
The Microsoft 365 deployment centers on core Collaboration capabilities, including Microsoft Teams for messaging and meetings, Exchange Online for enterprise email and calendaring, and SharePoint and OneDrive for document management and intranet content. Configurations emphasize real time coauthoring, shared team channels, and cloud file synchronization to support cross functional teamwork and content workflows.
Architecturally the implementation follows a cloud first tenant model with centralized identity and access control consistent with Microsoft 365 best practices. Operational coverage spans internal departments across the UK, and the public site contains visible Microsoft 365 artifacts that align external-facing content with the internal Collaboration platform.
Governance measures were applied at the tenant level to align information governance, access policies, and user provisioning with Collaboration workloads. Rollout included phased user onboarding and governance enforcement to unify collaboration workflows and reduce siloed content across teams.
