In 2012, Sears implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 for its B2B division, deploying the solution within an ERP Financial landscape to support account and product master operations. The role was designated as the SAP and Salesforce IT owner for the existing implementation, providing centralized technical leadership and acting as the primary liaison between IT steering and senior business leadership.
The SAP ERP ECC 6.0 deployment sat inside a broader SAP landscape that included SAP CRM, SAP MDM, SAP PI, SAP Web Channel, and SAP Data Services, alongside Salesforce.com Sales Cloud with several add-ons and custom processes. Implementation activities included configuring objects in both SAP ECC and SAP CRM, authoring functional specifications for ECC and CRM, writing SAP MDM validation rules, and developing SAP ABAP Queries to meet short term reporting requirements. The team also researched and implemented SAP GUI scripting solutions as an alternative to investing in the Winshuttle application.
Integration work focused on the SAP and Salesforce integration for account and product master data, with additional program-level responsibilities for multiple PCI compliance initiatives for SAP. Vendor selection and contract negotiation were led internally, including the selection of Hybris as a replacement for the SAP Web Channel solution and negotiation of the annual Salesforce contract.
Operational governance covered both onsite and offshore execution, with responsibility for six onsite SAP functional and development team members, one Salesforce administrator, and eight SAP functional and developer team members based at Sears Holdings India. Leadership responsibilities included annual budgeting for headcount and expenses, capital expenditure planning, resource allocation, time reporting, and associate performance reviews. The program also advanced governance maturity by leading the effort to become a Certified SAP Center of Expertise and by maintaining regular IT Steering Committee and weekly business review cadence to align technology investments with B2B division priorities.

In 2016, Sears implemented Infinite BrassRing ( Formerly IBM Kenexa BrassRing ) as its Applicant Tracking System. The deployment was exposed on Sears.com career pages to capture external applicants and to manage job postings, positioning the Applicant Tracking System as the primary public intake channel for recruiting workflows.
Infinite BrassRing ( Formerly IBM Kenexa BrassRing ) was configured to deliver core ATS capabilities including requisition management, candidate sourcing and application intake, resume parsing, candidate profile management, and interview scheduling. Configuration and automation work focused on candidate lifecycle workflows, custom status mappings, and templated candidate communications to support talent acquisition processes.
The implementation integrated the ATS with Sears public careers site for job postings and direct candidate capture, establishing the careers site as the external front end for the system. Operational coverage included Sears recruiting and HR teams in the United States, supporting both corporate and store hiring processes.
Governance and process changes emphasized standardized requisition approval paths, role based access controls for recruiters and hiring managers, and centralized recruiting process documentation to enforce consistent hiring practices. The technical posture placed Infinite BrassRing as the career site integrated ATS, with operational ownership residing in talent acquisition and HR operations.

| Domo | Legacy | Domo | Analytics and BI | Analytics and BI | n/a | 2010 | 2018 |
In 2010, Sears implemented Domo as its Analytics and BI platform to centralize retail and service analytics across stores and operations. The Domo deployment was positioned to ingest large scale data, later integrating over 15 billion rows into the Domo BI platform to support behavioral changes and operational reporting.
The implementation extended Domo into functional modules including Sears Auto Shop Management and point of sale, a near real-time POS data stream for associates and customers, appointment scheduling, text messaging for service notifications, and local vendor ordering capabilities. Sears and its teams also partnered to develop an industry first B2B platform for Fleet Management companies and an industry leading Manufacturer Service Intervals MSI application, embedding Domo analytics into those workflows.
Operationally the Domo rollout covered store operations across 830 retail locations, and relied on real-time data feeds and batch ingestion to support analytics and decisioning at the store level. Sears built a dedicated team of technologists with deep store operations knowledge to manage configuration, data pipelines, dashboards, and quality, and the program used in-store non-technical associates to execute a substantial hardware and software refresh without customer downtime.
Governance and outcomes were formalized through cross-functional collaboration between analytics, store operations, and service teams, and the work was recognized by the industry for ground breaking technology and integration in 2016. The program explicitly achieved near real-time POS visibility, integrated fleet and service analytics, and a large scale data consolidation effort that enabled behavioral changes and positive results as stated.
