In 2024 SentinelOne implemented Papaya Payroll OS to automate global payroll and centralize payroll operations. The deployment targeted a rapidly expanding professional services organization, consolidating payroll for more than 2,000 employees across 33 countries while aligning with SentinelOne's broader 2,800 employee footprint, and positioned the Papaya solution as the companywide system of record for Payroll data.
SentinelOne configured Papaya Payroll OS to replace fragmented manual workflows with automated payroll processing and onboarding, leveraging Papaya's built in audit system to enforce data accuracy. Functional capabilities implemented include automated salary and one time payment updates, onboarding automation that captures basic personal data and provisions employment records, Employer of Record support for multiple jurisdictions, and end to end employment administration to support entity setup and transitions from EoR to on payroll employment.
The implementation integrated Papaya with SentinelOne's finance and expense systems, explicitly connecting NetSuite and Expensify so that Papaya generates journal entries and uploads them to NetSuite while Expensify expense data flows directly into employee profiles. Operational coverage extended to in country partners via Papaya's ICP network, enabling background synchronization of payroll changes to local providers and usage of Papaya's BI capabilities for cross country cost comparison and consolidated visibility.
Governance and process changes centered on centralizing one set of payroll data and reducing error prone manual reconciliation, standardizing payroll workflows and auditability across jurisdictions. Papaya provided legal and operational guidance during acquisition related country setups, and the rollout emphasized reducing spreadsheet driven processes, streamlining approvals and payroll change controls, and improving visibility for payroll, HR and finance teams.
