In 2017, SF Group implemented Microsoft Dynamics NAV as its ERP Financial system to centralize finance and accounting activities for the Singapore based leisure and hospitality company. The deployment used Microsoft Dynamics NAV to address statutory reporting, FP&A support, treasury needs, tax workflows, and corporate finance information flows across the group.
The implementation configured core ERP Financial modules, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and cash management, and extended the solution to support financial reporting and planning workflows. Configuration emphasized automation of transactional workflows and consistent ledgers to support the finance shared service model that was established within the program.
Operational scope included creation of a finance shared service for AR, AP, GL, and cash management and provisioned Microsoft Dynamics NAV to support business partnering for overseas entities while preserving interactions with external stakeholders. The rollup covered internal finance teams and coordination with banks, auditors, tax agents, and government bodies, aligning system output to statutory and stakeholder reporting needs.
Governance was led by a CFO chaired digitalisation committee that drove the ERP revamp and stakeholder management, formalized finance shared service processes, and aligned system configuration to treasury, budgeting, and reporting practices. The program emphasized process ownership inside finance, staged rollout of shared services, and centralized governance to sustain Microsoft Dynamics NAV driven ERP Financial operations.
