Operationally the Germany and global deployment processes millions of invoices, achieving approximately 90 percent extraction without manual intervention and increasing automation in shared services by roughly 30 percent on average, up to 80 percent in some areas. The deployment architecture is a Workday-hosted cloud solution integrated within the broader Workday HCM suite, enabling unified master data and HR self-service access. The release is live in 35 of Siemens 95 countries and currently supports more than 40,000 employees across 35 countries, with a planned extension to more than 100,000 employees globally within the next 24 months.
Governance focused on a centralized process template and phased country rollouts, with IBM Services helping to rearchitect and streamline HCM activities for managers and employees.
