In 2024, Sitwifi licensed ZCorum's FiberVU and adopted ZCorum as its OSS/BSS application to enable zero-touch fiber service activation and TR-069 device management. The initial deployment targets deployments at airports, hotels and public venues in Mexico, operating within the Latin America region and supporting Sitwifi's fiber service provisioning use cases.
The implementation configured FiberVU modules for automated service activation workflows, TR-069 based device provisioning, remote diagnostics, and centralized device lifecycle orchestration. FiberVU was used to instrument provisioning and troubleshooting processes within the OSS/BSS control plane, standardizing activation sequences and diagnostic data collection across managed sites.
Rollout and operational coverage focused on property-level activations at commercial venues, with two properties activated in two weeks compared to four months previously, demonstrating an immediate reduction in device activation time and improved provisioning efficiency and diagnostics. Governance centered on centralized activation orchestration and remote device management, aligning field activation teams and operations under the ZCorum FiberVU OSS/BSS workflows.
