The implementation included a comprehensive Chart of Accounts redesign with mapping of approximately 800 expense codes and 20,000 cost codes, alongside deployment of a first generation Accounts Payable invoice logging solution and strengthened budgeting and forecasting workflows.
The Yardi Voyager deployment was operated alongside Advanced Open Accounts and eBIS and was configured to work with Collaborative Planning and Cognos for budgeting, forecasting and management reporting. Operational coverage explicitly included Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Housing Service Charge and Repairs payments maintenance, Treasury, finance business partnering, and whole company reporting, aligning property management accounting with corporate financial processes.
Governance and rollout were led by a small systems accounting team, responsible for business rules, system administration, testing, user acceptance testing and upgrades. Project activity included training, stakeholder management, audit committee reporting and a formal delivery plan tied to a 1 April 2019 chart of accounts go live date, reflecting a coordinated program of configuration, testing and reporting standardization.
