Intuit Legacy Intuit Quickbooks Enterprise ERP Financial ERP n/a 2016 2016
In 2016, Sparksoft Corporation implemented Intuit Quickbooks Enterprise. The deployment targeted core accounting and project finance functions for a 150 person professional services firm, aligning with ERP Financial requirements for accounts payable, general ledger, bank and credit card reconciliation, and expense management. The Intuit Quickbooks Enterprise environment was configured to support accounts payable processing, bank reconciliation, credit card reconciliation, and general ledger reconciliation, along with expense report workflows and fixed asset inventory tracking. The project included design and implementation of a Project Financial Control Model to enforce project level cost capture and align project accounting with the general ledger within Intuit Quickbooks Enterprise. Operational integration included continued data entry of invoices and payments into the Unanet accounting system for accounts payable, and established reconciliation processes between Intuit Quickbooks Enterprise and the Unanet accounting system to ensure ledger alignment. Reconciliations covered payables, bank statements, credit card activity, and periodic intersystem reconciliations, supporting both accounting and project finance teams across Sparksoft Corporation. Governance and workflow changes formalized centralized reconciliation ownership and expense audit processes, including preparation of expense reports for the CEO and auditing expense reports for other employees. The implementation also produced a formulated asset inventory for company equipment, used to align fixed asset controls and accounting treatments within the ERP Financial environment.
