In 2014, SPH Media implemented Oracle PeopleSoft ERP as its core ERP Financial platform for companywide finance and accounting operations. The Oracle PeopleSoft ERP rollout addressed centralized financial management for the Singapore based organization of approximately 2,500 employees, consolidating transactional finance, accounting and reporting functions into a single ERP Financial application.
The implementation leveraged standard ERP Financial capabilities including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets and cash management functionality along with PeopleSoft reporting and workflow for approvals and financial close orchestration. The technical deployment used Oracle database technologies and in-memory caching to support PeopleSoft performance, with environments referencing Oracle 11.x and 12.x databases, TimesTen 7.x for caching, and enterprise scheduling via Autosys. The PeopleSoft technical footprint coexisted with multiple database technologies noted in the environment, including MySQL, SQL Server 2016, Couchbase 5.x, and MariaDB.
Runtime and resilience architectures reflected enterprise database practices, using Oracle RAC, ASM and Data Guard for high availability and RMAN for backup and recovery, while messaging and queueing components were supported by MQM. The ERP Financial platform was integrated into SPH Media’s broader data and analytics ecosystem where Hadoop and Hive were used for big data analytics and RapidMiner was used for analytics workflows, and cloud resources such as EC2 and RDS were part of the operational landscape. Governance and operational ownership rested with the enterprise database team, which managed PeopleSoft technical databases and coordinated job scheduling, database replication and backup policies across the finance and accounting functions.

| Zoom Video Communications | Legacy | Zoom | Audio Video and Web Conferencing | Collaboration | n/a | 2022 | 2022 |
In 2022, SPH Media deployed Zoom for Audio Video and Web Conferencing on its corporate website to provide public-facing meeting access and support newsroom collaboration. SPH Media, a Singapore communications company with approximately 2,500 employees, exposes Zoom meeting links and embedded join flows directly on https://www.sph.com.sg/, positioning Zoom as the primary audio and video engagement layer on the site. The implementation documents the use of Zoom for browser-based join experiences and hosted meeting orchestration.
Configuration emphasizes standard Audio Video and Web Conferencing capabilities delivered by Zoom, including scheduled meetings, real-time video and audio, screen sharing, and cloud recording functionality. The deployment is oriented toward both live event hosting and ad hoc internal collaboration, with the website integration surfacing meeting entry points and webinar flows to external participants. These functional modules align with media industry workflows for editorial coordination and virtual events.
Operational coverage centers on corporate communications, events, and newsroom teams, with governance focused on centralized access to website meeting links and role-based user provisioning in the Zoom environment. Rollout appears concentrated on the public web layer and internal collaboration rather than broad enterprise system integration. The record positions Zoom as SPH Media’s chosen Audio Video and Web Conferencing platform for external engagement and internal coordination.
