| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle NetSuite ERP | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2012 | 2013 |
In 2012, Spireon, Inc. implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP to address core ERP Financial needs for its 550 person professional services business. The initial deployment focused on the Accounting and Finance organization, supporting revenue related payments and commission administration for U.S. operations with staff in Irvine, California, Phoenix, Arizona, and a distributed remote workforce.
The implementation of Oracle NetSuite ERP consolidated financial modules commonly associated with ERP Financial deployments, including general ledger, accounts payable, revenue and commission accounting, and period close workflows. Configuration emphasized support for variable incentive sales plan administration and the creation of monthly, quarterly, and annual commission statements, with business logic to calculate payments to employees and third parties such as agents, resellers, and dealers. The platform was used to surface inputs for forecasting and budgeting processes and to produce data that finance analysts could consume for advanced financial modeling.
Integrations were aligned to cross functional data sources, notably Salesforce.com CRM for sales attainment and pipeline data used in commission calculations and forecasting. Reporting and analysis workflows referenced BI tooling commonly paired with NetSuite, with Tableau and Power BI noted as complementary visualization and ad hoc analysis destinations. Operational coverage linked Sales Operations, Human Resources, Finance, and Accounting into coordinated payout and forecast workflows, enabling shared data flows between sales compensation processes and core financial records.
Governance centered on a Compensation Analyst role reporting into the VP of Finance to maintain plan documentation, collect signed plan agreements, reconcile attainment, and coordinate payouts. Processes were structured around regular monthly and quarterly cycles for commission calculation and payment, with ad hoc SPIFF analysis supported through established review and approval steps. Oracle NetSuite ERP served as the transactional and reporting backbone for these compensation and revenue related payment processes.

| Arcoro | Legacy | InfinityHR | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2014 | 2015 |
In 2014 Spireon, Inc implemented InfinityHR as its Core HR system. InfinityHR was provisioned to support HR operations for roughly 450 employees and 130 contractors across approximately 30 states and four main offices.
Spireon used InfinityHR for core HRIS functions, Performance Management, and as its Applicant Tracking System. The InfinityHR deployment included configuration of performance workflows for annual and quarterly evaluations, a company-wide performance management program that achieved a reported 100 percent annual completion rate, and an online benefits enrollment capability that removed handwritten paper enrollment processes.
The HR stack at Spireon paired InfinityHR with Paylocity for payroll operations, with InfinityHR serving HR administration, talent management, recruiting, and benefits enrollment workflows. Recruiting and hiring processes were formalized through the Applicant Tracking System, supporting activities such as establishing a call center in Iowa and recruiting the initial cohort of employees.
Governance and operational controls were centered in HR, with InfinityHR underpinning execution of annual compensation review and tracking, administration of medical dental vision FSA HSA and 401k programs, regular audit and reconciliation of benefits invoices, management of the Radford compensation survey and company-wide leveling, and delivery of executive headcount and reporting metrics. The HR organization identified and documented talent management and ATS processes inside InfinityHR, and reported explicit short term savings from the talent management implementation of approximately $150,000 in the first four months.

| Amazon Web Services (AWS) | Legacy | Amazon SageMaker | ML and Data Science Platforms | AI Development | n/a | 2020 | 2020 |
In 2020, Spireon, Inc. integrated Amazon SageMaker into its serverless AWS vehicle intelligence platform to add image classification and model training capabilities, aligned with its ML and Data Science Platforms strategy. The implementation targeted Spireon’s connected vehicle business function, processing over a billion events per month and supporting Smart Trailer use cases such as cargo status, door events, tire pressure, temperature and lift gate monitoring.
The deployment consolidated serverless compute and managed data services, moving sensor ingestion from Amazon EC2 to AWS Lambda, with vehicle image artifacts persisted in Amazon DynamoDB. Amazon SageMaker was used to classify images from tens of thousands of trailers and to train iterative AI models that improve detection of trailer contents and related telematics events. The platform retained microservices design intent while shifting to serverless patterns to accelerate development velocity and simplify operational telemetry.
Integration points included AWS IoT Core for device connectivity and the device shadow to maintain offline command state, AWS IoT Core Jobs Services to orchestrate OTA firmware updates, and AWS IoT Things Graphs to target devices by type, customer and firmware version. The work was performed with support from Onica by Rackspace Technology, and the end-to-end architecture combined IoT messaging, serverless compute, managed NoSQL storage and Amazon SageMaker model hosting to produce a pipeline for real-time alerts and automated image inference.
Governance and rollout followed a four month implementation cycle, with remote configuration, message broker based commanding and OTA update workflows embedded into operational procedures. Outcomes called out by Spireon include reduced development time by more than half, deployment into tens of thousands of trailers, accumulation of many hundreds of thousands of images used for model training, and the delivery of real-time visibility and deeper insights to customers.
