Infor Legacy Infor SunSystems ERP Financial ERP n/a 2008 2008
In 2008, Spirit Energy implemented Infor SunSystems. Infor SunSystems was deployed as an ERP Financial platform to centralize core accounting functions for the finance and accounting teams across the company. The deployment emphasized standard financial modules, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed asset accounting, cash management, and financial reporting, leveraging Infor SunSystems capabilities for multi entity accounting and period close workflows. Configuration work addressed chart of accounts design, period close controls, and reporting structures, with SunSystems Q&A used for ad hoc report development and user level financial analysis. Operational governance established SunSystems and Q&A super user and administrator roles responsible for configuration, security administration, and reporting change control within finance, supported by documentation and role based training to sustain transactional processing and month end close. The implementation concentrated accountability in the finance function and formalized workflow standardization through system based controls and super user stewardship.

SAP Legacy SAP BW (Business Warehouse) Data Warehouse Analytics and BI n/a 2010 2010
In 2010, Spirit Energy implemented SAP BW (Business Warehouse) as its Data Warehouse to centralize reporting and analytics across finance and commercial functions. The SAP BW (Business Warehouse) initiative involved working with business stakeholders to analyse and document software needs across a broad portfolio of customers in multiple locations, and to provide business as usual service for maintenance and support for teams such as Finance, Business Development, Legal and Commercial. The implementation included configuration and ongoing administration of reporting models and extract, transform and load workflows typical of a Data Warehouse, with the business analyst and key user role coordinating change, training users and managing customer requests. Operational responsibilities encompassed requirements gathering, design and specification, testing, product documentation, implementation and end user training, while also operating as a Sun Systems/Q&A super user and administrator within the reporting landscape. Change governance was structured around project and BAU streams, managing software projects such as upgrades and additions to existing systems and implementations of new systems, including working with third party customers and negotiating costs and requirements. The support footprint covered cross functional business functions and customer-facing reporting, with formalized testing, documentation and user training processes to sustain the SAP BW (Business Warehouse) Data Warehouse environment.
