| Cognite | Legacy | Cognite InField | Asset Performance Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2018 | 2018 | In 2018 Statnett implemented Cognite InField as part of its Asset Performance Management tooling to provide analysts with direct access to contextualized transmission grid data. The deployment routed operational statuses, disconnections, generation capacities, and sensor data into Cognite Data Fusion™ where the datasets were structured and linked to asset models for downstream use. The Statnett development team built an easy to use Cognite InField application that surfaces an asset centric, contextual data model to analysts. The application supports navigation across grid assets, quick lookup of load profiles, generation capacities, and recorded disconnections, and provides visualization and data preparation capabilities for further analytical workflows. Time series and event context are exposed alongside asset metadata to enable asset performance and condition-oriented inspection within the Asset Performance Management category. Operationally the implementation targeted Statnett analysts working on power system analysis, embedding contextualized source data into everyday analytical workflows. Governance centered on centralizing source system ingestion into Cognite Data Fusion™, and on maintaining a consistent contextual model to ensure exploration and visualization in Cognite InField remain accurate and repeatable for grid analysis. |
