| Workday | IBM AS/400 | Workday Financial Management | ERP Financial | ERP Financial Management | n/a | 2014 | 2015 |
In 2014 SWBC implemented Workday Financial Management as its ERP Financial backbone, replacing IBM AS/400 for core accounting and financial master data consolidation. The deployment centralized finance and accounting functions onto Workday Financial Management, positioning the application as the single source for ledger accounts, cost centers and revenue categories across corporate finance.
Workday Financial Management was configured to support detailed security and business process control. Security work included creating new security groups and assignable roles, reviewing end user security requests, assigning necessary roles and removing outdated roles, and providing external audit support. Business process work encompassed documenting process flows in Visio, maintaining business process policies and definitions, authoring Conditional Rules for existing business processes and updating end user notifications to align approvals and task routing.
The implementation included extensive master data management within Workday Financial Management, creating and editing Sales Items, Revenue Categories, Spend Categories, Cost Centers, Ledger Accounts and Investment Profiles, and maintaining hierarchical structures to support financial reporting and transaction processing. The application was operated as a centralized ERP Financial platform to orchestrate financial transactions and master data, consistent with Workday cloud SaaS deployment patterns for enterprise financial systems.
Governance and operational practices established during rollout focused on role lifecycle management, documented business process definitions and ongoing maintenance of master data hierarchies. Operational support work continued post go live to improve end user experience, sustain audit readiness and keep conditional business rules and notifications aligned with evolving finance workflows.

In 2000, SWBC implemented Quadient Neopost IS-5000 as its central Mailing System. The deployment targeted the corporate mailroom to centralize outgoing postage, automated envelope insertion, and high-volume document scanning workflows under a single physical inserter and postage platform.
Configuration of Quadient Neopost IS-5000 focused on functional modules typical of mailing systems, including automated folding and insertion, integrated postage metering, barcode-based sortation and tracking, and document capture for downstream processing. The implementation supported scanning for digital archiving and batch processing that aligned with existing Proscan Software and document management routines, and the Quadient Neopost IS-5000 was used to generate the daily operational reports delivered to Corporate via Microsoft Outlook.
Operational integrations explicitly included UPS WorldShip and FedEx shipping workflows for outgoing parcels, Proscan Software for image capture and indexing, and existing document management systems for retention and retrieval. The scope of use covered mailroom operations, shipping and receiving interactions, and direct interfaces with other corporate departments to resolve customer service and mail transition issues, leveraging bilingual mailroom staff for cross-department communication and training.
Governance and process work centered on mailroom leadership establishing standardized sorting, scanning, and posting procedures, with a lead mailroom clerk providing supervisory oversight and training for equipment utilization. Daily reporting of mailroom operations to Corporate and documented procedures for scanning and outgoing mail processing formalized operational controls around the Quadient Neopost IS-5000 implementation.
