The delivery included building a dedicated datamart with ETL implemented using SQL stored procedures and SQL Server Integration Services, which fed the Microsoft Power BI reports. Functional capabilities implemented included KPI calculation logic for sales and inventory, data model design and report level measures, along with incremental ETL orchestration. The assignment also involved enhancing and troubleshooting existing QlikView based business reports to harmonize reporting semantics and provide continuity for report consumers.
The implementation integrated with a Cloud based Data Lake project under Microsoft Azure, with responsibilities for data validation and administration to bring global operational data from onsite systems to cloud. Collaboration with key business owners established data quality assurance workflows and operational governance around the datamart and reporting cadence.
