| Oracle | SAP R/3 | Oracle NetSuite ERP | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2020 | 2020 |
In 2020, Swissport International migrated from SAP R/3 to Oracle NetSuite ERP and deployed Oracle NetSuite Planning & Budgeting as part of an ERP Financial initiative to centralize budgeting and forecasting. The implementation targeted planning for approximately 8 to 9 legal entities, about 50 stations, and 5 to 8 business lines, reflecting a rollout aligned to Swissport’s airport operations footprint across its global network of airports.
The Oracle NetSuite Planning & Budgeting deployment was configured to provide a single datasource for maintaining planning and forecasting data, supporting PNL, Balance Sheet, and Cash flow planning. Configuration emphasized driver based models that connect revenue and cost drivers to financial outcomes, consolidation and multiple scenario what if planning, role based interfaces to broaden user adoption, and model extensibility so business users can evolve budgeting models without heavy IT changes.
Integration work focused on setting up the outbound data flow between Oracle NetSuite Planning & Budgeting and Oracle NetSuite ERP to load actuals into the planning environment, leveraging NetSuite APIs and pre built connectivity patterns for ERP Financial data. The solution scope explicitly included multi user collaboration, simultaneous editing, drill down to underlying transaction level data, and the ability to create multiple reports, graphs and charts for management reporting.
Governance and adoption activities centered on system administration training, feature and extensions training for Swissport staff, and consulting assistance to develop new reports and planning models. The engagement emphasized packaged cloud capabilities to reduce administrative overhead while replacing the prior SAP R/3 financial planning touchpoints, aligning budgeting workflows, and centralizing planning models across the defined company and station structure.

| IBM | Legacy | IBM Maximo | Enterprise Asset Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2019 | 2019 |
In 2019, Swissport International implemented IBM Maximo. The IBM Maximo deployment targeted Enterprise Asset Management for the company's global ground support equipment fleet and fleet management operations.
The implementation focused on core Enterprise Asset Management capabilities, including a centralized asset register, work order management, preventive maintenance scheduling, spare parts inventory control, and reporting and KPI dashboards tailored to fleet performance. IBM Maximo was configured to reflect fleet-centric asset hierarchies and maintenance workflows, and mobile access was provisioned to support field technicians performing inspections and corrective work on GSE.
The program included an explicit integration posture between Enterprise Asset Management and telematics systems to create an integrated Fleet Management System capability, enabling telemetry-driven condition monitoring and operational reporting. Operational scope covered global oversight and reporting of all GSE fleet assets and supported fleet management, maintenance, engineering, and performance teams across Swissport’s sites.
Governance and process restructuring accompanied the technical rollout, with fleet processes reviewed and redeveloped to align with the Global Fleet Manual and IBM Maximo system capabilities. KPI development, fleet data analysis, and support for broader fleet management transformation activities were embedded in the operational governance to standardize workflows and reporting across the global fleet.
