Operational coverage extended across finance and accounts payable where staff processed invoices for payment, travel coordination where staff made travel arrangements, procurement where orders and requisitions for departmental supplies hardware and software were prepared, and HR onboarding where staff processed paperwork and security authorizations for new employees and contractors. Time reporting was maintained and administered in parallel with expense processing to provide administrative visibility for managers.
Governance focused on maintaining and updating procedural documentation and departmental organizational charts, collecting and interpreting metrics to identify process improvements and system enhancements, and embedding standard operating procedures for expense reporting into day-to-day workflows. Administrative functions also included planning meetings capturing action items preparing and distributing meeting minutes and creating documentation and procedures related to applications.
