In 2017, Takarékbank Zrt. deployed MoonSol as its Core Banking application. The bank implemented MoonSol as an in-house system to centralize core deposit and payment workflows and to provide a single transactional ledger for front and back office processing.
The MoonSol Core Banking application was configured to support standard core banking capabilities, including customer account management, deposit and loan servicing, transaction posting and payment processing, and integration points for general ledger reporting. Configuration work emphasized workflow automation for transaction life cycle handling and standardized reporting outputs to align operational teams with a single system of record.
MoonSol operated alongside Microsoft Office tools, with Microsoft Excel and Word used for operational reporting, reconciliations and document generation, and with Parcel Audit used to track physical shipments related to bank operations. Integrations were structured around data export and report generation workflows to feed Office based reporting and Parcel Audit shipment tracking, preserving MoonSol as the central transactional source.
Governance and rollout were managed internally, with configuration and operational ownership retained by bank IT and operations teams, and training focused on embedding MoonSol driven workflows into back office and retail banking processes. The implementation prioritized centralized transaction processing and consistent reporting practices while maintaining in-house control of system configuration and operational governance.
