In 2000, Telus implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 as its ERP Financial system. The deployment placed SAP ERP ECC 6.0 at the center of finance and order management processes and established an enterprise-grade SAP application footprint for communications operations.

SAP ERP ECC 6.0 was exercised for web application interfaces and batch integrations, with functional coverage aligned to typical ERP Financial workflows such as order-to-cash and invoice processing.
A subsequent SAP server migration and upgrade activity in 2014 focused on moving from ERP 4.7 to SAP ERP ECC 6.0, and involved coordinated testing of SAP SD batch jobs, external interfaces, web applications, SAP SD features, and EDI functionality. Operational coverage emphasized HR shared services and transactional HR processes across Telus Canada, with interfaces supporting batch and near real time data synchronization.
Governance and delivery included dedicated PeopleSoft HCM development and support staffing, reflected in job requirements that call for a minimum of three years of PeopleSoft 9.x HCM experience and more than ten years of PeopleSoft HCM development experience. In 2011 Telus implemented Salesforce Field Service (ex ClickSoftware) in a proof of concept for the Quebec region, deploying the ClickSchedule and ClickAnalyze products as Phase 1. The deployment configured ClickSchedule for automated work split and technician assignments alongside ClickAnalyze for job and schedule analytics, reflecting core Field Service Management functionality such as appointment orchestration, technician scheduling, and localized user interfaces. Following Phase 1 success in Quebec, Telus scaled the Salesforce Field Service (ex ClickSoftware) implementation to cover the entire Canadian territory through a phased rollout, extending operational scope from regional field teams to nationwide field operations and standardizing scheduling and dispatch governance across sites.
