Oracle Oracle PeopleSoft ERP Oracle Cloud ERP ERP Financial ERP n/a 2019 2020
In 2019, The Bank of New York Mellon implemented Oracle Cloud ERP as its ERP Financial platform, replacing Oracle PeopleSoft ERP. The deployment centralized core finance operations under Oracle Cloud ERP and established a program to migrate chart of accounts and transactional history into the cloud platform. The implementation focused on standard financial modules common to ERP Financial deployments, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, cash management, subledger accounting, procurement related invoicing, and financial close orchestration. Configuration work emphasized multi ledgers and multi book accounting, role based controls for segregation of duties, automated close sequences, and managed financial reporting and statutory reporting capabilities within Oracle Cloud ERP. Architecturally the program used Oracle Cloud ERP SaaS as the primary ledger and transactional engine, with data migration and reconciliation processes to bring down records from Oracle PeopleSoft ERP into the cloud environment. Integrations were implemented as enterprise financial interfaces and subledger feeds to support upstream transaction sources and downstream consolidation processes, alongside secured connectivity and identity and access management integration to align with enterprise controls. Governance adopted a centralized finance operations model with defined change control, close governance, and role based access workflows to support the new ERP Financial footprint. Internal ERP analysts and Oracle Cloud ERP consultants drove configuration, testing, and phased cutover across finance functions, with structured handover to line of business finance teams for ongoing operations and support.

Aon Hewitt Legacy Aon Hewitt Absence Management Absence and Leave Management HCM n/a 2012 2012
In 2012, The Bank of New York Mellon implemented Aon Hewitt Absence Management in an Absence Management deployment to consolidate benefits administration and outsourced support functions under a single provider. The decision to transform benefit administration and outsource support to Aon Hewitt culminated in a July 2012 go-live for Aon Hewitt Absence Management. Implementation workstreams were organized into Health/Welfare and Technology Interfaces, with the project team conducting functional requirements analysis, conversion data analysis, and interface requirements definition. Configuration and testing focused on absence workflows and benefits administration orchestration, with dedicated validation for open enrollment and the annual wellness program campaign. The Technology Interfaces workstream documented data mappings, conversion feeds, and interface requirements to core HR and payroll systems, and established acceptance criteria for vendor service level monitoring. Operational use centered on centralizing leave case handling and aligning vendor-managed processes with internal HR operations. Program governance included vendor service level management, identification and management of change orders and product enhancements, and benefits training for newly acquired employees and HR staff. The implementation was executed through project-managed workstreams led by benefits administration leadership and a small specialist team, covering requirements definition, testing, conversion, and post-go-live vendor oversight.

Finastra Legacy Finastra Fusion LenderComm Blockchain Loan Management ERP Services and Operations n/a 2018 2018
In 2018, The Bank of New York Mellon implemented Finastra Fusion LenderComm Blockchain as a Loan Management platform to support syndicated lending operations. Finastra Fusion LenderComm Blockchain is described as a syndicated lending platform developed collaboratively with leading global banks, and the deployment was positioned to serve syndicated lending desks and loan operations teams. The implementation centered on Loan Management functionality typical for syndicated lending, including syndicated loan lifecycle orchestration, agent bank role coordination, lifecycle event tracking, document distribution and shared recordkeeping. Configuration emphasized workflow orchestration for syndication events, participant permissions, and standardized message and document flows to align multi‑party loan administration processes. Architecturally the platform is underpinned by Corda, R3’s distributed ledger technology, providing a permissioned, shared ledger model for participating banks. The deployment model established node-based participation for member banks, enabling a single source of truth for loan state and transaction history across the syndicated lending community. The Bank of New York Mellon’s use of Finastra Fusion LenderComm Blockchain reflects a category-aligned adoption pattern for Loan Management within complex multi‑party credit markets.
