Operational coverage extended across the head office finance team, the management accounts team and commercial finance stakeholders, with budget holders consuming periodic reporting and variance commentary. The deployment was positioned to support the Management Accountant role that owns all stock accounting, monthly gross margin reconciliation and oversight of daily margin reporting processes.
Governance established role based process handoffs and accountability for month end reconciliations, fixed asset controls and audit preparation, while commercial finance retained accountability for budget inputs and variance explanations.
