SAP Legacy SAP ERP ECC 6.0 ERP Financial ERP Accenture 2015 2015
In 2015, Timken Company implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 as its ERP Financial platform, engaging Accenture as the system integrator and providing post go-live support for the ECC 6.0 Ehp 6 environment. The implementation established a centralized SAP ERP ECC 6.0 instance to govern procurement, inventory and warehouse operations alongside core financial processes under the ERP Financial program. The deployment configured core modules and logistics capabilities including Materials Management MM, Warehouse Management WM, Ariba SCC, SLP and Logistics Execution. Configuration work included defining new material types and material groups, global material master settings and field selection, vendor master maintenance aligned to procurement needs, split valuation, batch management with search strategies and batch determination, and sub-contracting procurement cycles with automatic FI postings for funds and grants scenarios. Warehouse and execution capabilities were implemented with storage type control parameters, put away and picking strategies, storage unit management and multiple storage unit types assigned to bins. Mobile RF data entry was enabled with customized RF transactions for goods receipt and storage bin transfers, paperless put away and picking was configured, barcode label generation was implemented for EAN and Code 128 formats, SSCC numbering and handling unit managed locations were set up, and nested handling units were supported. Logistics Execution shipping configuration covered freight, transfer of requirements, route and route scheduling. Integrations included Ariba SCC for purchase order, confirmation, ASN and forecast collaboration, HUM integration with WM, and interfacing WM movement types with Inventory Management movement types using special movement indicators. The program included test scenarios and test plans, power user and end user testing support, end user training and documentation, and ongoing post go-live support to stabilize the ERP Financial operations.

SAP Legacy SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Global Benefits Benefits Administration HCM n/a 2013 2013
In 2013, Timken Company implemented SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Global Benefits as the central component of its global HR systems program. The deployment targeted Benefits Administration within the Employee Central core module to create a single source of HR processes and data across the enterprise. The implementation configured the Employee Central core with a dedicated global benefits stream, while coordinating functional workflows across talent, succession, JAM, and learning modules in the SAP SuccessFactors product suite. The program included a systemic language strategy to standardize data definitions and benefits metadata across regions, and the SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Global Benefits deployment was positioned to support ongoing governance and change control. Architecturally, the initiative integrated Employee Central with SAP Cloud Payroll and local pay systems to synchronize benefits-related payroll inputs and eligibility feeds. Internal IT resources were led alongside system integrator and vendor assets to orchestrate interfaces, master data flows, and entitlement logic between Employee Central and adjacent SAP SuccessFactors modules. Operational scope was global, driven by enterprise HR leadership with the functional stream responsible for benefits configuration, payroll integration, and cross-module coordination. Governance measures emphasized global change management and a sustainable support model for ongoing changes and support of Benefits Administration and connected HR functions.
