Configuration work for Genesys Bold360 AI emphasized layered chat routing, branded chat UI configuration, and workflow rules to route text interactions to appropriately trained staff. Timberland trained 24 customer service agents on the Genesys Bold360 AI platform, then designated four agents to a special-ops chat team focused on text-first channels, these agents field chats, emails and texts and are configured to manage concurrent conversations. Operational scope targeted Timberland customer service on the website, establishing the special-ops chat team as the core operational node for text-based customer engagement and concurrent handling of an average of three customers at a time. Genesys Bold360 AI functioned as the Chatbots and Conversational AI layer within Timberland’s customer engagement stack, integrating with web front-end chat workflows and routing to customer service staff to support resolution and productivity outcomes.
