| Lunavi | Legacy | Lunavi Hosting | Application Hosting and Computing Services | IaaS | n/a | 2018 | 2018 | In 2018, Tinuum Group implemented Lunavi Hosting within the Application Hosting and Computing Services category to host VMware workloads and establish a formal backup and disaster recovery posture. Tinuum Group, an Oil, Gas and Chemicals firm with approximately 120 employees, prioritized energy efficient infrastructure and nationwide connectivity to support satellite offices across the United States. The implementation centered on Lunavi Cloud and datacenter services delivering VMware Cloud hosting and DR services, including virtual machine provisioning, scheduled backups, replication for off site backup capability, and orchestration for recovery workflows. Lunavi Hosting was configured to support standard virtualization management functions and backup automation consistent with Application Hosting and Computing Services practices, preserving application images and recovery points. Operationally the environment supported VMware workloads originating from Tinuum Group offices and field sites, with nationwide connectivity links to Lunavi datacenters to centralize compute and storage. The deployment impacted IT infrastructure and operations teams by consolidating hosting responsibilities and enabling centralized backup operations while maintaining connectivity for distributed business functions. Governance for the engagement emphasized contract consolidation and managed service controls for backup retention and recovery testing, aligning policies with energy efficiency goals. The engagement delivered improved agility, cost savings on contracts, and added off site backup capability as documented in the Lunavi case study. | |
