In 2015, Touax implemented SAP BusinessObjects Financial Consolidation (BFC) with Primexis. The SAP BusinessObjects Financial Consolidation (BFC) deployment was positioned in the Financial Consolidation and Close category to centralize the group's monthly consolidation and close activities and to produce consolidated financial statements in IFRS. Configuration work focused on core consolidation workflows and month-end control orchestration used by the consolideur and contrôleur de gestion. The implementation covered monthly group account elaboration, validation and analytical review of subsidiary reporting packs, and the creation of standardized templates for indicator analysis including VarCap, TFT and Tax Proof. A user guide for SAP BusinessObjects Financial Consolidation was produced to standardize end user procedures and support repeatable close tasks. Operational coverage included group-level consolidation and review of data submitted by subsidiaries, with activities conducted in the Région de Paris, France during the Nov 2015 to Dec 2016 engagement period. Primexis acted as the SI/VAR, delivering configuration, local deployment support and assistance to subsidiary teams for correction of control exceptions. Data handling and routine automation work referenced Visual Basic for Applications as part of the project skill set. Governance and process changes emphasized formalized month-end controls, analytic review workflows and defined escalation paths for correcting subsidiary control issues. The deployment supported preparation of consolidated IFRS financial statements and institutionalized indicator-driven reviews, while the project deliverables included both operational procedures and user enablement materials for ongoing Financial Consolidation and Close operations.
