| Microsoft | Legacy | Microsoft Dynamics AX | ERP Financial | ERP Financial Management | n/a | 2018 | 2018 |
In 2018 Trafigura implemented Microsoft Dynamics AX for ERP Financial functions. The implementation was active at the Bandra Maharashtra accounting site during September 2018 to March 2019, where Accounts Executive responsibilities included timely issuance of debit notes and credit notes as part of routine accounting operations.
Microsoft Dynamics AX was configured to support core financial modules typical of an ERP Financial application, including general ledger posting, accounts receivable and accounts payable processing, debit and credit note workflows, and monthly bank reconciliation cycles. The application was used for transactional postings covering sales, purchases, expenses, receipts and payments, indicating journal management, ledger control, and reconciliation capabilities were in operational use.
Operational activity also referenced parallel accounting entries in Tally ERP 9 and Microsoft Dynamics AX, reflecting coexistence of transactional recording across both systems at the Bandra accounting unit. Day to day operations included ledger reconciliation of debtors and creditors and execution of bank reconciliations, with Microsoft Dynamics AX serving as a principal platform for those finance control processes.
Governance and process orientation centered on embedding Microsoft Dynamics AX into the finance function through centralized debit and credit note issuance and recurring reconciliation routines. Operational ownership resided with finance and accounting personnel at the Bandra site, who performed the transactional posting and reconciliation responsibilities within the Microsoft Dynamics AX environment.

| Workday | Legacy | Workday HCM | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2014 | 2018 |
In 2014, Trafigura implemented Workday HCM as its Core HR application for a global workforce of approximately 13,000 employees. The rollout established an employee E-Portal and a network of designated super users, with documentation referencing Workday (Human Capital Management) super user responsibilities to support employee self service and HR administrator access.
The implementation emphasized Core HR functional modules common to the category, including a single global worker record, organizational and position management, absence and leave management, configurable business processes for onboarding and offboarding, and talent profile capture. Workday HCM configuration centered on role based security, business process automation for transactional HR workflows, and the E-Portal experience to surface employee and manager self service capabilities.
Operational coverage focused on HR operations, talent administration, and workforce administration teams, using the E-Portal as the primary access layer for both employees and HR specialists. Governance was organized around the super user model, role based access controls, and localized process owners to drive adoption, maintain master data hygiene, and manage iterative configuration changes within Workday HCM.

In 2023, Trafigura implemented Palantir Foundry. Trafigura implemented Palantir Foundry as an Analytics and BI platform to support supply chain business functions, using the application to centralize analytical workflows for operational decisioning.
The implementation leveraged Palantir Foundry capabilities common to the Analytics and BI category, including data integration and transformation, a governed data ontology, analytical workspaces, and operational applications to convert analytic output into day to day workflows. Palantir Foundry was configured to produce curated, governed datasets and reusable pipelines that feed both ad hoc analysis and operational dashboards.
Deployment consolidated distributed enterprise data into the Palantir Foundry environment, bringing together shipping, inventory, customs and logistics data domains into a unified data model. The architecture integrated both on premises and cloud sources into Foundry, while implementing role based access controls, dataset cataloging and end to end lineage to support cross functional usage by supply chain and operations teams.
Governance and workflow changes emphasized data stewardship and model governance, creating formal dataset ownership and approval gates that route analytical outputs into operational decision workflows. The Palantir Foundry implementation is listed by the vendor within its supply chain offering, aligning Trafigura Palantir Foundry Analytics and BI deployment with supply chain analytics and operational planning use cases.
