In 2020, TreviPay implemented TestGorilla Assessment. TestGorilla Assessment, a Talent Assessment application, was introduced to standardize candidate evaluation within TreviPay, a global B2B payments company operating across more than 190 countries.
The deployment focused on core Talent Assessment capabilities including a broad library of skills tests, comprehensive anti-cheating measures, the ability to combine multiple tests into a single assessment, and custom question authoring. Assessments were configured to be short and easy to administer, enabling the hiring team to assemble role-specific test bundles and run concurrent candidate evaluations.
Operational ownership rested with the hiring team and product and technology leadership, enabling a three-stage recruitment workflow that pairs an initial screening interview with TestGorilla Assessment and a subsequent hiring manager meeting. The integration into the recruiting funnel allowed multiple assessments to be executed in parallel and supported scaling of candidate throughput without introducing new named enterprise integrations.
Governance changes centered on introducing an objective, standardized assessment step to complement interview-based evaluation, with role-specific test design and anti-cheating controls used to preserve fairness and consistency. The implementation delivered explicitly stated outcomes of greater objectivity in hiring, improved efficiency through parallel assessments, faster decision making, and increased ability to evaluate candidate skills across multiple domains.
