Infor Legacy Infor SunSystems ERP Financial ERP n/a 2009 2009
In 2009, Tullow Oil implemented Infor SunSystems in an ERP Financial deployment to standardize financial processes across its global operations. The program targeted standardization of business processes, business structure, and core financial functions across 130 Business Units, with Infor SunSystems serving as the central financial ledger and static data repository. Configuration work centered on static data management and the data load into Infor SunSystems, with the project team responsible for provisioning master data across Tullow Oil offices in six separate locations. Implementation activities included standardizing chart of accounts, business unit hierarchies, and entity mappings to enforce consistent financial posting and reporting structures within the ERP Financial system. The initiative included planning for integrations with asset management, performance management, and contract and procurement systems, with interface design to support financial postings, commitments, and performance reporting flows. Operational coverage spanned finance and accounting functions across multiple regions and business units, aligning transactional and structural data to the SunSystems instance to enable consistent downstream reconciliations. Governance and rollout emphasized centralized ownership of static data loading and stewardship, controlled configuration changes, and process standardization across units. The program formalized data governance roles and coordination across sites to sustain the standardized business structure and ensure consistent use of Infor SunSystems as the organizationwide ERP Financial system.

SAP Legacy SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Marketing Candidate Relationship Management HCM n/a 2013 2013
In 2013, Tullow Oil implemented SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Marketing as a targeted Candidate Relationship Management solution to strengthen HR and talent acquisition workflows. The SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Marketing deployment was positioned within a broader SAP SuccessFactors HCM SaaS footprint that included Recruiting Management, Employee Central, Performance and Goals, Compensation, Learning, Career Development Planning and Workforce Analytics and Planning, aligning the application to corporate HR and payroll objectives. The implementation focused on configuring SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Marketing and related talent modules for candidate engagement, employer branding, and pipeline nurturing, while mapping employee master data and talent management processes. Configuration work included recruitment marketing campaign setup, candidate lifecycle orchestration, and alignments to compensation and performance processes, together with scope and estimation activities for extending Employee Central and Career Development Planning functionality. Tullow Oil executed a GDPR compliant, end to end data migration strategy using MS Access and SQL tools to extract, transform and load large data sets into SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Marketing and adjacent modules. The program documented and implemented interfaces and integrations between core HR and payroll systems and other internal and external systems, produced interface mappings and system specifications, and ran structured testing cycles including system integration testing, user acceptance testing and load testing to validate data flows and reporting. Program governance followed agile delivery practices with sprint planning, daily stand ups, retrospectives and PMO reporting including weekly status updates and escalation points. Change and adoption activities included end user training, communication plans and post go live support for HR and Payroll teams. Project documentation records indicate objectives to simplify and optimise HR processes, improve employee experience, promote collaboration and reduce costs as part of the SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Marketing Candidate Relationship Management initiative.

IBM Legacy IBM Maximo Enterprise Asset Management ERP Services and Operations n/a 2008 2008
In 2008 Tullow Oil implemented IBM Maximo as its Enterprise Asset Management solution to standardize asset and maintenance related processes across the organization. The implementation targeted standardisation of business process flows, business structure and functions across 130 Regional Business Units and offices located in six separate locations around the world. Configuration work focused on consolidating static asset and financial reference data and embedding core Enterprise Asset Management workflows, such as an asset register consolidation and standardized work order processes and preventive maintenance scheduling. The project team managed the static data load into SunSystems across Tullow Oil offices, and ran workshops to define standardisation rules and identify where real exceptions required bespoke handling. Governance and rollout were driven by a project manager active from August 2008 to June 2010, using group-level workshops to establish exception rules and business structure alignment across regional units. The selection and procurement phase completed the choice of IBM Maximo within six weeks of issuing RFIs to five prospective vendors, and execution delivered the stated standardisation and data loading milestones across the defined operational footprint.
