In 2018, Turkish Aerospace Industries implemented Siemens Teamcenter as part of a Siemens Digital Industries Software deployment to establish a complete digital twin across its manufacturing enterprise. The Siemens Teamcenter implementation serves as the core Product Lifecycle Management platform connecting design, development, manufacturing and life cycle support for fixed and rotary wing air platforms, unmanned aerial vehicles and satellites.
The program extends to the broader Teamcenter portfolio alongside NX software, the Simcenter solution and the Tecnomatix portfolio, aligning CAD data management, product structure and bill of materials, configuration and change control, and simulation and manufacturing process planning under a unified PLM backbone. Implementation work focused on configuring Siemens Teamcenter capabilities to manage engineering data, change workflows and product configurations, while NX and Simcenter handle integrated CAD and simulation artifacts and Tecnomatix supports manufacturing process definition.
Integrations are centered on linking Siemens Teamcenter with NX, Simcenter and Tecnomatix to synchronize design intent, simulation models and manufacturing process definitions into a digital twin representation of products and production. Operational coverage spans engineering, manufacturing and life cycle support functions across Turkish Aerospace Industries manufacturing enterprise, enabling cross functional traceability from requirements through production planning.
Turkish Aerospace Industries extended the partnership with Siemens for an additional 11 years and planned rollout of a wide variety of Siemens software to operationalize the digital twin and standardize PLM governance. Governance and rollout activities emphasize centralized PLM data control, standardized change management workflows and coordinated configuration management to support complex aerospace product lifecycles.
