| Kaonavi | Legacy | Kaonavi Talent Management | Talent Management | HCM | n/a | 2017 | 2017 | In 2017, Union Gate Group implemented Kaonavi Talent Management, a Talent Management application, to centralize HR administration and performance processes. The deployment initiated a move away from paper based personnel management toward a cloud based human resource management environment while the company stood up its HR division. Kaonavi Talent Management was configured to deliver core functional modules including a human resource management cloud system, an evaluation system, and a survey system. The implementation was used to reconstruct evaluation forms and to redesign accomplishment measurement to capture performance for both store staff and headquarter staff, and to administer annual employee satisfaction surveys. Operational coverage included the Human Resources and General Administration team, store operations and headquarters, supporting recruitment and onboarding activities during a period of retail expansion. The system supported manager and executive workflows for performance reviews and employee engagement programs such as the Best Place to Work project, and was embedded in processes for training, mentorship and inclusive hiring initiatives. Governance and process transformation were driven by HR leadership reporting to the Business Administration Director, with collaboration from executives and external certified social insurance labor consultants and company attorneys. Kaonavi Talent Management provided a standardized platform for evaluation governance, survey administration and personnel recordkeeping, and was used alongside HR budgeting and headcount planning activities while survey scores improved from 6.0 to 6.9 over three years. |
