The University of Georgia, a land-grant and sea-grant university with statewide commitments and responsibilities, is the state's flagship institution of higher education. It is also the state's oldest, most comprehensive and most diversified institution of higher education. Scope and Challenges
On September 15th, 2017, Cornerstone OnDemand announced that the University of Georgia has selected the Company's learning solutions to support its growing research enterprise. The learning solutions will eventually be available to more than 50,000 users, including students, faculty, and administrators, to support ongoing professional development as well as enhance regulatory compliance and safety culture
Outcome and Implications
The University of Georgia recently purchased an enterprise-level learning management system (LMS) developed by Cornerstone OnDemand. Over the next year, the Cornerstone OnDemand system will become the University-wide LMS to provide, track, coordinate, quantify and otherwise manage all EHS training, education, and certifications for the diverse array of learning and e-learning requirements.
This system is also expected to provide the platform for housing the institutional policies, plans, manuals, and management systems that will be developed to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices.
With the implementation of Cornerstone OnDemand LMS, individuals who intend to engage in EHS-regulated activity will be required to determine their training requirements and successfully complete those requirements through the LMS. This includes faculty, staff, researchers, visitors, and students.
The Company also uses Adobe Experience Manager who enables them to manage and publish timely, high-impact web content with much greater ease and efficiency.
