TruIO Legacy TruOI (ex iDashboards) Analytics and BI Analytics and BI n/a 2019 2021
In 2019, the University of Glasgow implemented TruOI (ex iDashboards) to centralize building energy and operational monitoring for its campus net-zero and energy optimisation programme. TruOI (ex iDashboards) was deployed as an Analytics and BI solution to surface real-time dashboards and performance reporting focused on building energy, operations and performance. The implementation emphasized live dashboarding, KPI visualization, time-series trend analysis and scheduled reporting to support facilities and energy management workflows. Configuration work included dashboard templates aligned to building- and campus-level metrics, role-based views for command centre operators, and automated refresh cycles to maintain near real-time visibility for operations teams. TruOI (ex iDashboards) was integrated with IES digital twins and a live command centre developed in partnership with IES, allowing model-driven data feeds to populate operational dashboards and to link analytics to the university’s energy optimisation processes. Operational scope covered campus facilities and energy management departments, with governance structured around the university’s net-zero programme and centralized monitoring in the command centre for coordinated response and decision making.
