Oracle Oracle PeopleSoft ERP Oracle Cloud ERP ERP Financial ERP Financial Management n/a 2024 2024
In 2024 University of Maine System began its deployment of Oracle Cloud ERP as part of the Repaving MaineStreet initiative, migrating Oracle PeopleSoft ERP Financials to Oracle Cloud ERP to consolidate finance functions. The program sits alongside parallel migrations of PeopleSoft HCM to Oracle Cloud HCM and a reimplementation of MaineStreet PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, reflecting an enterprise wide ERP Financial scope across multiple campuses. The ERP Finance project completed a second round of Application Review in March for the Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Cash Management modules, and is now updating configurations and converting source data ahead of a third round of reviews planned for late May through early June. Oracle Cloud ERP configurations and data conversion are the focal technical activities, with application review outcomes driving iterative configuration updates and build tasks. Operational coordination spans finance, HR, and student systems, with HCM Recruiting being implemented in Phase One to replace the HireTouch applicant tracking system and a PeopleTools 8.6 upgrade planned to enable Campus Solutions workstreams. The technical team is collaborating closely with functional ERP analysts during the PeopleTools 8.6 build out, aligning application readiness across Oracle Cloud ERP, Oracle Cloud HCM, and the Campus Solutions reimplementation to preserve data consistency and process alignment across campuses. Governance for the rollout uses repeated Application Review sessions, self guided reviews, system integration testing and staged user acceptance testing cycles, followed by end user training. Specific timelines include SIT and UAT for recruiting in April and May, end user training in May and June, a soft launch of Oracle Cloud Recruiting in mid June, and a July 1 go live, while the ERP Finance stream advances configuration and conversion work toward its late May to early June review window.

Microsoft Legacy Microsoft Power BI Analytics and BI Analytics and BI n/a 2022 2022
In 2022, the University of Maine System deployed Microsoft Power BI as an Analytics and BI solution on its website. The implementation embeds interactive, public-facing dashboards and reports into institutional web pages, positioning Microsoft Power BI for web-first visualization and centralized distribution of institutional data to both external audiences and internal stakeholders. The deployment prioritizes browser-based consumption and embedded report delivery rather than limited desktop-only access.
