Governance around the platform included peer review processes, mentorship and oversight for junior staff, use of checklists for transitions and deadlines, and tracking spreadsheets for projects and non-core TPA services to ensure accurate invoicing and service billing. Configuration choices emphasized alignment with USI Consulting Group operational practices for recordkeeping and compliance services, and the FIS Relius application was embedded as the principal system supporting those business functions.

Governance centered on scheduled reconciliations, reconciliation review and approval workflows, recurring entry control, and documented rollforward procedures for fixed assets and prepaid schedules. Month-end processes included preparation and posting of recurring entries, reclasses and accruals, with treasury controls for EFT approvals and region-specific GL posting ownership maintained through corporate accounting procedures.
