Oracle Legacy Oracle Cloud ERP ERP Financial ERP Financial Management n/a 2015 2015
In 2015, Vanderbilt University launched the SkyVU project to deploy Oracle Cloud ERP. The deployment targeted the Oracle Cloud ERP application in the ERP Financial category as the central platform to consolidate financial, administrative, and research support functionality across the institution. SkyVU implemented Oracle Cloud ERP alongside Oracle Cloud HCM capabilities, configuring core financial modules and administrative workflows to consolidate the universitys application footprint. Functional coverage explicitly included general ledger and procurement capabilities, and the project planned to consolidate document and HR-related applications by absorbing functionality associated with DMS, eDog, and C2HR. The architecture was delivered as a cloud hosted SaaS ERP Financial implementation, with centralized configuration and shared data models to reduce redundancy across financial, administrative, and research support organizations. The implementation emphasized correlated business functions including finance, procurement, administrative operations, and research support, aligning process flows to the Oracle Cloud ERP data model and HCM tenant. Governance for SkyVU aligned process transformation with application consolidation to simplify administrative processes and mitigate institutional risk. Over time the program was scoped to consolidate functionality from multiple campus systems into Oracle Cloud ERP, with the stated objective of making administrative, financial, and research support processes less complicated and more efficient.

Sterling Talent Solutions Legacy Sterling Background Check BackGround Screening HCM n/a 2016 2016
In 2016, Vanderbilt University implemented Sterling Background Check for BackGround Screening. The deployment focused on Health Professions Advising Office workflows that support undergraduate shadowing programs, linking background clearance to badge issuance and clinical placement eligibility. The Sterling Background Check configuration captures fee processing and jurisdictional fee assessment with a published base fee of $36 and potential additional jurisdiction fees, and the vendor policy specifies that a single background check remains valid for the remainder of an undergraduate's program if three requirements are met. Those three requirements are consecutive shadowing each fall and spring without skipping a semester, uploading the required Physician Signature Log and the Activities Tracking Sheet to the original REDCap Shadowing Record to verify each semester of shadowing, and returning the shadowing badge to the HPAO at the end of each term. Sterling Background Check was implemented with operational controls to enforce documentation and badge lifecycle management, and it integrates clearance status and uploaded verification materials with students' REDCap Shadowing Records for verification and auditability. Governance and operational ownership reside with the HPAO, which coordinates fee collection, applies jurisdictional fee rules when applicable, and administers the three requirements that determine whether the single background check remains active for an undergraduate student. The implementation positions Sterling Background Check as the system of record for background screening within Vanderbilt's BackGround Screening processes used by student clinical placement and compliance workflows.

Equifax Legacy Equifax LawLogix Edge Case Management ERP Services and Operations n/a 2010 2010
In 2010, Vanderbilt University implemented Equifax LawLogix Edge as a Case Management platform to centralize case status tracking and reporting across campus departments. The deployment of Equifax LawLogix Edge emphasized case lifecycle orchestration, reporting-driven alerts, and configuration of workflows to support institutional administrative processes. Configuration work mapped case status fields and workflow rules so the system could update status information in PeopleSoft, fsaAtlas, and LawLogix, and the built-in report function was configured to remind department contacts of necessary extensions and max out dates. Integrations were implemented to push status updates into PeopleSoft and fsaAtlas to synchronize administrative records, with LawLogix serving as the primary case repository, and operational governance assigned to departmental contacts and case owners to manage escalation and max out date tracking.
