Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations was configured to support automated production workflows and to reduce manual steps in time consuming processes, with functional configuration aligned to manufacturing and service efficiency objectives. Integrations were implemented to bring several existing systems into Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, enabling consolidated transactional flows between shop floor systems, warehouse processes and the finance modules. The deployment architecture supported cross site operational coverage, with D365FO serving as the central transactional system for supply chain, warehouse and production orchestration across VAT Group sites in multiple countries. Axapta Masters provided a blended team of Project Managers, Functional Consultants and Developers embedded with VAT Group to align configuration to business processes, and to deliver post go live support in user adoption, training and issue resolution. Axapta Masters managed support service instituted continuous incident triaging, service and change request prioritization and resolution workflows operating under agreed SLAs, and included management and organizational activities to prepare for future D365 rollouts. The stated intent of the initiative was to improve service efficiency, optimize and automate crucial and time consuming processes and to maximize process quality by running Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations as the enterprise ERP Financial system. Ongoing managed support and targeted optimizations in warehouse operations and reporting were used to sustain system performance and drive user adoption.
