Oracle Legacy Oracle Retail (ex Retek) Retail Management ERP Services and Operations n/a 2015 2015
In 2015, VELPRO-CENTAR plus d.o.o. implemented Oracle Retail (ex Retek) as part of a regional Oracle Retail upgrade program led by mStart, an Oracle Gold Partner. The deployment is categorized under Retail Management and aligns with parallel implementations delivered for Konzum and Mercator in the region. The implementation architecture emphasized Oracle Application Development Framework based customizations, Java technology stacks, and service oriented integration using Oracle Service Bus to stitch together a broad set of Oracle product components and in‑house retail applications. Functional capabilities deployed include master data management tuned for mass input and processing of item and purchase condition records, enhanced pricing policy management, personalized user interface and contextual views, and streamlined navigation designed to reduce clicks to key results. Oracle Retail (ex Retek) was configured to centralize merchandising and pricing workflows while exposing contextual screens for store operations and category management. Delivery and governance were executed by mStart consultants without involvement of other consulting firms, addressing the stated challenge of mapping customer specific business requirements into a significantly rearchitected release. Integrations were implemented as a service oriented mosaic connecting existing retail applications into the Oracle product landscape, with operational coverage spanning merchandising, pricing, store operations and retail IT. Post go live the system delivered optimized master data processes, accelerated application navigation, and expanded pricing controls as described by the implementing team.
