Serrala FinanceSuite was configured to deliver standard AP Automation capabilities, including electronic invoice capture, workflow-driven approvals, automated posting to the general ledger, and payment orchestration. Configuration emphasized invoice validation rules, approval routing, and ledger integration to support the SAP-FI based accounting model used at VHV Group.
The implementation is integrated with SAP-FI and the company’s banking and payment add-ons, specifically Autobank and Paymentmangement, to create end-to-end invoice to payment processing. Operational coverage is focused on finance and accounting functions, with accounts payable teams using Serrala FinanceSuite for supplier invoice intake, exception handling, and payment initiation.
Governance and process alignment were organized around centralized AP processing and SAP-FI posting controls, with functional ownership residing in the finance organization that also maintains SAP-FI and the Autobank and Paymentmangement add-ons.
