In 2019 Vidhwan implemented SAP Business One as an ERP Financial application to build data repositories for its newly acquired Gulf Power company and to centralize customer and device data for the Gulf Project. The implementation was driven by the Device Management Cluster and Customer Service teams, with a focus on managing data interfaces, customer relations, reporting, device management, and maintenance within SAP Business One.
SAP Business One was configured to capture financial ledgers and customer master records, and to host service and device management records alongside reporting repositories. Functional work included defining business requirements, functional specifications, and non functional specifications to align SAP Business One data structures with operational workflows.
Integrations included mapping mainframe data to SAP Business One elements and building the data interfaces required to ingest Gulf Power transactional and device data. Operational coverage explicitly spanned the Device Management Cluster, Customer Service, and Gulf Power operational footprint, supporting cross functional processes for service delivery and financial reconciliation.
Governance and rollout activities were driven by formal requirements documentation, including business requirements documents and functional specification documents, creation of AS IS and TO BE process flows, gap analysis, use cases, and high level process flows. Business analysts collaborated with both business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into configuration and interface specifications for SAP Business One.
