SAP S/4 HANA was configured to deliver core financial management capabilities typical of the ERP Financial category, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and financial close support. Configuration emphasized standardized financial workflows, consolidated master data and transactional finance processing to support operational accounting and reporting across shared services.
Integrations linked SAP S/4 HANA with SAP SuccessFactors for HR data, with SAP Concur for expense management, and with SAP C/4HANA for customer facing processes, enabling synchronized master data and end to end transactional flows. The architecture was implemented as cloud to cloud connectivity to maintain unified records for finance, HR and customer engagement systems and to support cross functional operational coverage.
