In 2015 Wander implemented Abacus Payroll as part of an integrated HR solution covering payroll, applicant management and time capture. The deployment used Abacus Payroll within the Payroll category to standardize payroll processing and HR intake workflows across the organization. The implementation was configured as a cloud operation in Switzerland, with cloud hosting operated by Swisscom and implementation services provided by Customize Switzerland. Functional modules brought online included Abacus Payroll itself, an applicant management module and time capture, with configuration focused on Swiss payroll rules and local compliance. Operational coverage moved to centralized processing for HR and payroll and has been in production since the payroll go live in early 2017, during which Abacus processes approximately 250 payrolls per month. HR automation tied to applicant management cut applicant processing time by about half, and the project improved payroll data quality while lowering payroll IT overhead as reported by the customer. Governance and rollout emphasized Swiss localization and partner-led implementation, with Customize Switzerland responsible for configuration and Swisscom managing cloud operations in-country. The overall program linked Abacus Payroll, time capture and applicant workflows to create a single HR payroll operating model for Wander's HR and payroll functions.
