In 2017 Warburtons implemented SAP S/4 HANA Finance as its ERP Financial system. Edenhouse led the engagement, having been engaged in late 2016 to migrate the business to SAP Business Suite on HANA, and the project earned Warburtons a Bronze award at the SAP Quality Awards in the Transformation category.
The SAP S/4 HANA Finance deployment centralized core financial management capability for Warburtons, covering general ledger, central ledger consolidation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, period end close controls, and statutory reporting. Configuration work emphasized financial close automation, chart of accounts harmonization, and master data rationalization to create a single source of truth for finance and commercial reporting.
Edenhouse executed the rollout in phased waves across finance and commercial functions within Warburtons UK operations, with data conversion, cutover planning, and go live sequencing coordinated to minimize disruption. Project governance used finance process owners and a steering committee to oversee requirements, testing cycles, and post go live stabilization activities.

| SAP | Legacy | SAP BW (Business Warehouse) | Data Warehouse | Analytics and BI | n/a | 2017 | 2017 |
In 2017 Warburtons implemented SAP BW (Business Warehouse) as its enterprise Data Warehouse to centralize reporting and analytic consumption across the SAP landscape. The deployment targeted consolidated reporting and BI workflows to support finance, procurement, sales and supply chain business functions.
SAP BW (Business Warehouse) workstreams focused on BW/BI data modeling, ETL orchestration, InfoProvider and query layer configuration for analytics consumers. The implementation populated reporting datasets and operational data stores inside the Data Warehouse, enabling structured query design and scheduled data loads for recurring reporting.
Integration points included transactional feeds from SAP ECC and core SAP modules such as FICO, CRM and SRM, with published outputs surfaced through NetWeaver internal and supplier portals. Interfaces emphasized extractor-based data movement and staged transformations to maintain consistent master data and transactional context for analytics.
Governance centered on SAP security and authorisation, with activities explicitly addressing SOX compliance, segregation of duties and user profile provisioning. A managed S&A consultant model was used to diagnose and remediate security and authorisation issues, liaise with managers, and implement best practices across ECC, BW/BI and NetWeaver portal environments.
