In 2017 Wessex Water implemented ancoraDocs Invoices as an AP Automation solution to centralize invoice intake and orchestration within its finance organization. The deployment targeted accounts payable workflows and invoice processing, with the ancoraDocs Invoices application serving capture, automated data extraction, validation and routed approval workflow functions typical of AP Automation deployments.
Configuration work included invoice template and form creation, workflow process setup and exception routing. The implementation incorporated invoice data validation and hands off for posting, and the ancoraDocs Invoices instance was configured to support automated routing and approval workflows aligned to Wessex Water finance controls and supplier master procedures.
The implementation was integrated into Wessex Waters finance application landscape, including Unit4 ERP Agresso for posting and supplier master synchronization, and operated alongside MHR Trent as part of the broader payroll and finance systems supported by the IT application support team. Integration points focused on transferring validated invoice transactions into Unit4 ERP Agresso and reflecting supplier references across systems to maintain reconciliation and GL coding continuity.
Ongoing governance and support were provided by application support resources who performed version upgrades to Unit4 ERP Agresso from M6 to M7, undertook AG16 development, maintained forms and workflows, and developed reports using SQL within Excelerator and ARC. Support activity recorded through Apr 2019 to Dec 2021 included operational maintenance of AncoraDocs and coordination across finance teams to sustain invoice processing and control workflows.

The Webrecruit ATS implementation is integrated into the public facing careers experience on wessexwater.co.uk, using the vendor portal URL structure to surface live vacancies and receive candidate data. Governance emphasis was on role based access for HR users and hiring managers and on standardizing vacancy publishing and response workflows.

The implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Field Service focused on core field service capabilities, including work order orchestration, scheduling and dispatch, mobile technician access, asset and equipment tracking, and inventory visibility. Configuration work included electronic reporting logic and data management patterns aligned with utilities operational workflows.
Integrations were a central part of the architecture, with Dual write integration connecting Dynamics 365 Field Service to Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, Azure Data Lake integration for centralized telemetry and reporting, Logic Apps used for orchestration, and explicit data management integration points. Power Apps and D365 Commerce were also integrated into the application landscape to extend technician and customer-facing interfaces and to align commerce and service interactions.
Governance and delivery included specialist technical development, including Electronic Reporting development and Data Management contributions by a Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Senior Technical Consultant and Dynamics Developer. Operational coverage targeted field operations, maintenance, and customer service functions, with integration patterns designed to maintain master data consistency and event-driven updates across the enterprise systems.
